The project

The context

Located on the prestigious Place des États-Unis in Paris, the Ducasse Baccarat project embodies the meeting of two exceptional houses. This ambitious renovation aims to create a landmark on the Parisian scene, where the art of crystal-making meets the culinary excellence of Alain Ducasse.

The layouts

The project offers a holistic approach focused on the sensory experience. The spaces have been reimagined to create a true alchemy between gastronomy and the art of living. Particular attention has been given to natural light, with the reopening of windows and the creation of two major axes that structure the space. Circulations have been optimized to provide a fluid and immersive experience.

Interior architecture

The architectural approach plays on the contrast between the raw and the refined. Natural and bio-based materials—wood, leather, ceramics, hemp—create a dialogue with the refinement of Baccarat crystal. The raw textures evoke the craftsmanship of the Michelin-starred chef, while the crystal elements bring a touch of preciousness.

The Iconic Alain Ducasse

The gastronomic experience reinvented.

In the iconic restaurant space, every detail of the interior architecture is designed to enhance the culinary art and the elegance of the moment. The dining room is illuminated by an oversized shower of crystal, creating a spectacular and immersive atmosphere. Noble materials and raw textures, wood, leather and ceramic, engage in a dialogue with the refinement of crystal, while natural light and open axes bring to life a vibrant, convivial and resolutely contemporary setting.

A true showcase of craftsmanship, the restaurant cultivates a harmony between heritage and innovation. Organic forms, bio-based materials and artistic touches make each meal a unique sensory experience. The world of Iconic invites guests to savour the art of living in a setting that celebrates creation and encounter.

An immersive experience

A sensory journey in an enchanting setting.

The different living spaces offer an intimate and refined atmosphere where every element tells a story. The majestic chandeliers converse with the wooden tables wrapped in leather, while the play of light creates a warm and immersive ambiance. This vision, born from the collaboration between the Ducasse Paris teams and Baccarat, expresses the identity of these prestigious maisons through an exceptional architectural universe.

The French art of living

When crystal encounters haute gastronomy in a historic setting.

On the prestigious Place des États-Unis, the former private mansion of Marie-Laure de Noailles now houses a unique concept that combines the culinary excellence of the Ducasse maison with the refinement of Baccarat crystal. The Ducasse Maison Baccarat restaurant, the midi-minuit bar and restaurant, Le Jardin bar, the historic reception lounge and the wine cellar together form a journey where art de vivre and architectural elegance meet in perfect harmony.

Materiality in the service of the senses

A symphony of natural textures elevated by crystal.

The project is structured around meticulous material work, creating a unique sensory experience. The raw textures evoke the craftsmanship of the Michelin-starred chef, while natural and bio-sourced materials, from wood to leather, through ceramic and woven textiles, are harmonised in an earth-toned palette. This sustainable approach is in harmony with the cuisine, all magnified by the brilliance of Baccarat crystal.
